Groups doing mobile irrigation testing

While it’s always a good idea to make sure that every gallon of water applied to an orchard is utilized to the fullest, it is even more critical in drought years to make sure that no applied water is going to waste. Aside from accurately assessing an orchard’s water use, having a good distribution uniformity (DU) is critical for good irrigation management. It’s something that any grower can do on their own, but there are organizations that will do it for you, many for free. We’re sharing some organizations below who can do distribution uniformity tests:
