FLATHEADED BORER IN WALNUT FIELD DAY 2024
Pacific flatheaded borer (Chrysobothris mali; Coleoptera: Buprestidae) has emerged as a notable pest, causing significant damage in many walnut orchards. Understanding this pest’s biology and infestation behavior is crucial in developing successful management practices. On this field day, we will cover biology, monitoring, and management options for the flatheaded borer in walnuts. Also, we will show how to diagnose the damage caused by this pest in the field.
This free Flatheaded Borer Field Day will offer insights on flatheaded borer IPM based on the research results conducted in recent years.
