Irrigating frost damaged almonds in a drought

Advisors in the Sacramento Valley put together some tips to irrigate almonds in a drought year. While some trees may have a severely reduced crop load, this likely will not heavily impact growth. However, pulling back slightly on the irrigation a bit may reduce the high levels of vigor you can expect when a mature almond tree is putting all of its carbohydrates into vegetative growth rather than nuts.
