  1. Powerpoint presentation by Sandipa Gautam on the biology of citrus thrips, identification, and its natural enemies, current status of resistance and resistance management tactics. Beth Grafton Cardwell will talk about the efficacy of insecticides for citrus thrips control, treatment thresholds and treatment choices for thrips management.

  2. Microscope identification of citrus thrips life stages compared to western flower thrips

  3. Field demonstration of citrus thrips, predatory mite monitoring methods, and sampling for citrus thrips damage

 

Continuing Education 1.5 other units is granted.
