Sudden autumn freeze events have damaged walnut orchards in the Central Valley in 2018, 2019, and 2020. On November 4th, 2021 from 4:00-5:30 PM (PST) a panel of UC experts and growers will discuss lessons learned from these past freeze events and how to prepare for the next sudden autumn freeze.
Before the meeting, we encourage you to participate in this survey provided by University of California Cooperative Extension (UCCE) regarding freeze damage in walnuts. The purpose of this survey is to gain greater understanding of freeze damage in walnuts.
